Michele Demarest

Owner / Director

Michele Demarest, MS, CCC-SLP, CBIS has been treating pediatric and adult patients in inpatient, outpatient, and community-based rehabilitation settings.


She has expertise in the treatment of:

  • Aphasia (loss of language/word finding as a result of illness or trauma)

Ms. Demarest is a NJ licensed Speech Language Pathologist who is board certified by the American Speech-Language Hearing Association (ASHA) and holds her Certificate of Clinical Competence. She also is a Certified Brain Injury Specialist (CBIS) and provides cognitive remediation therapy in a variety of settings. She is trained at the second level in the use of PROMPT (Prompts for Restructuring Oral Muscular Motor Targets), TalkTools™ Oral Motor Placement Therapy, and Orofacial Myology. She volunteers on the NJ Craniofacial Team. She has been named a NJ Favorite Kids Doc.

Alexis Passarelli

Therapist Coordinator

Alexis Passarelli is the therapist coordinator at Morris Speech Therapy. Alexis earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Teacher of the Speech and Hearing Handicapped at Ithaca College with minors in psychology and gerontology. Kelly Zecca

Kelly Zecca, MA, CCC-SLP, is a speech language pathologist who holds a Master of Arts degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders from Montclair State University. She is a member of the American Speech and Hearing Association and also holds a NJ Department of Education Speech Language Specialist certification. Adriana Hemans

Adriana Hemans, MA CCC-SLP, CBIS joined MST in Fall 2023. Adriana earned her Bachelor of Science degree at University of Connecticut. She earned her Master of Arts degree from Montclair State University in 2021. She treats the majority of her patients in person in our Morristown office. She also enjoys treating patients online and uses a large variety of materials to pinpoint learning needs. She enjoys working with children as well as adults with developmental delays and acquired illnesses or injuries.
